Today’s busichic is a stylist and photographer who personfies the mantra “when you are comfortable with who you are, your individual style shines through.” She also keeps a fab blog called the Style Farm – it’s been nestled on your right on my blog roll if you haven’t checked that out yet!
Coat – vintage Jacket – recycled (Op Shop) Top – French Connection Jeans – Rich & Skinny Shoes – Melissa Bag – vintage Necklace – length of plastic chain from Reverse Garbage (Sydney) Ring – Bunnings (plumbing section) Watch – Nixon
While I love Meagan’s workwear and would love to see more of this kind of style on casual days in my own workplace, there are some other things that you can learn from Meagan’s style and apply to any workplace dresscode!
Meagan is a big fan of sustainable fashion which means that she always looks to reuse / recycle items where possible and try and rework them in interesting ways. Much like the necklace and ring that she has repurposed out of waste/tools – so clever!
If you need help with that, I like that she takes the same approach with her styling clients. It’s not just about buying a bunch of new clothes. She can help identify and articulate your individual style and then rework and restyle what you already have as well as find items that will add value to your wardrobe. Sounds like a pretty useful service to me!
