[Fashion] Editor style: The Australian

Dearest BusiChic,

Melburnians are enjoying a public holiday today, of which I will be spending the early hours cycling in the Moomba parade (more on that later)! Nonetheless, the rest of Australia will be hard at work which is why I’m providing you with some business chic inspiration to kick start the working week.

First off, a little more context. LMFF is well and truly underway which has brought me into contact with some editors. As such following on from last year’s popular Shopgirl series, I thought I’ll share some of the editor style I’ve snapped.

I met today’s editor by chance when his suit simply caught my eye. The fabric had a beautiful richness to it and the cut was impeccable to the extent that the overall effect was striking and I found myself tapping Damien Woolnough on the shoulder to comment as much.

Super polished grooming makes a five star impression.

A close-up of the beautiful fabric that caught my eye and a peek of pocket square.

High shine licorice patent leather lace-ups punctuate Damien’s smart work ensemble.

Damien wears suit by Hugo Boss, shirt by Prada, tie by Rag & Bone, bag by bvlgari and shoes by Bally.

I photographed Damien at the National Designer Award announcement held at Tiffany & Co. I think that that Damien’s work ensemble is pretty spot on for his role as Fashion Editor for The Australian. What say you, BusiChic?

    2. The suit is incredible and the shoes add so much depth to the outfit. And you gotta love Rag and Bone!
