Week 45: LBD gets back to basics with leopard print and a red leather bag

In Week 45 of the Little Black Dress project, I style my LBD for a hot day using accessories I’ve used earlier in the project and show how shoes can change the look!

Greeting BusiChic! A heatwave is passing through south-eastern part of the country (in Australia, for benefit of our international BusiChics!) so I thought that I’d show you how to create a simple summer look using one’s own LBD and a few accessories!

Those of you who have been following the project. may recall the bag and shoes from Week 3: Furoshiki and the leopard print belt from Week 18:

Week 45: LBD + Leopard print belt + red bag + trouser socks (rolled down) + open toe shoe

Week 45: LBD + Leopard print belt + red bag + trouser socks (rolled down) + open toe shoe

A leopard print belt is a great accessory that adds some pizzazz to any ensemble, particularly work ones!

A leopard print belt is a great accessory that adds some pizzazz to any ensemble, particularly work ones! See how I wore it in Week 18 of the project, I’ve since learnt to knot the belt which adds another creative element to the outfit. What do you think?

That said, after Week 44’s playing around with ankle socks, I’m truly hooked and thought I’d change my footwear, thus creating this look:

Week 45: LBD + Leopard print belt + red bag + trouser socks (rolled down) + ankle boot

Week 45: LBD + Leopard print belt + red bag + trouser socks (rolled down) + ankle boot

Which look do you prefer?

Outfit details: LBD by Bento, belt by Gorman, Bag from Pigeonhole, open-toe shoes from Camper, Juniper style ankle boots from ziera.
