Meagan Harding is the personal stylist I’m working with to inspire me to rethink my workwear style. More on that later because this is a post on awesome Meagan’s own style which is a great source of inspiration for me. I love her use of colour and ingenuity with accessories; not to mention her ability to make old things look new. For instance, I used to think that a white shirt was a stiff and rather dull thing but see how Meagan’s found a clever double-collared style that’s longer on the body which lends itself to marvellous layering? It’s opened me up to a whole new world of styling possibilities!

Meagan’s outfit here is inspiration for my Smart Casual days where I like to dress more creative, rather than necessarily casual. If you’re in a conservative work environment like I am for most of the week, you might like to take inspiration from the top of her outfit and wear tailored slim-line cropped pants with a smart pair of loafers or a pencil skirt and statement pumps.
Are you inspired by Meagan’s style? How do you work a white shirt in the office?
