Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing my side-project with you that will be getting a little extra special over the month of March!
My co-host, Meagan Harding, and I are very excited that, Melbourne in Fashion, our podcast is part of the 2014 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) Cultural Program. While the runway shows take place March 17-23, the Cultural Program component runs for the full month of March, giving us all time to celebrate fashion in this great city! Long-time BusiChics may recall that I took part in the Cultural Program last year by exhibiting The Little Black Dress Project, so I’m very happy to be back and helping to document the festival in our online radio format.
This means that we’ve been hard at work interviewing organisers and participating designers as they prepare to show Autumn/Winter collections at Australia’s largest consumer retail event. Not to mention all of the show guests, photographers, bloggers and attendees whom we plan to vox pop on the spot to capture the excitement and glamour of the runway shows!
We are so excited about the VAMFF that we thought we’d start early and open with proceedings by sharing our interview with the one and only, CEO of VAMFF, Graeme Lewsey:
