Bank workers get stereotyped as “pinstripes and suits” but today’s BusiChic shows just how broadly bank workers can dress.
A hued dress with an interesting neckline and paired with fashionable sandal heels – Jeanette’s look is great inspiration for the Contemporary Business Wear worker particularly as the weather warms up later this week!
Taking Five with Jeanette:
What’s your role? What industry do you work in?
I work at Nab in Business Improvements.
How do you describe your workwear style?
I like to keep on trend, reasonably classic with a touch of detail. Often structured and sometimes adding more pattern and colour, depending on my daily schedule. I love belts, and it’s amazing how a belt can finish an outfit.
What are some of your go-to outfits for:
(1) day in the office: I have a number of Veronika Maine dresses that are simple cut styles (as featured) that have detail in either colour or simple print.
(2) important meetings: Often something black – black structured peplum top with belt together with a skirt, textured or usually subtle colours.
(3) your desk-to-drink chic outfit: Any of the above!
Favourite spots for lunch/coffee in the city?
As I work in Docklands, my favourite coffee is Ninety Secondi or caffe bambino and for lunch I regularly grab sushi on the run (Ichimaki or Sushi Wang) or if time permits Pok Pok, Banoi or caffee bambino.
