Street Style: Collins Square

This post is proudly brought to you with the support of Collins Square, Melbourne.

Hello there, BusiChics!

While I have moved to New Zealand, I am excited to come back every month to photograph the stylish workers of Melbourne. It is a wonderful luxury made possible with the support of Collins Square who have commissioned me to focus my lens on the workers who brighten up the streets down the “New York end” of Collins street. I hope that you will enjoy these monthly stories exploring the city from this fresh vantage point and be inspired by the workers demonstrating their own wonderful take on workwear – who said that corporate had to be boring!?

An avant-garde approach to workwear in Melbourne’s most beloved shade of black and embellished with Art Deco-esque gold accessories. Brilliant.

A full circle skirt makes a bold statement with its sheer but tasteful panel and polished accessories.

As the mercury rises, make your work commute that much more comfortable by wearing a tank and popping a cardigan in your bag to slip on once you’ve reached the air-conditioned office. Transition easily for afterwork festivities by popping cardi back into your bag at the end of the day!

The airconditioning is often cranked to the max in offices to enable men to keep wearing their full suits in comfort. So for goodness sake – make the most of the opportunity and make it a stylish one like this gent.

Are you inspired by the style in this street chic story? It’s going to be warm this week so I’m looking forward to pulling out my sleeveless vest and wearing it in a similar way as shown in the first look – what about you!?
