Part Four: Big Scary

Tom & Jo

Musicians work.. and this pair certainly know how to work it. Tom and Jo are Melbourne duo –  Big Scary –  an indie-rock/folk band that I can vouch – sound so big it can be scary… or that they will be so big it will be scary… or… I’m sure that you get my drift. This is what Tom and Jo wore to the Ben Sherman Big British gig held on a chilly mid-week night earlier this month; Ben Sherman. Smart Casual, Tom has mixed in his dad’s blazer and post-gig Jo sports a funky-femme blouse of her own and kick-ass pendant.

This freeze-frame does not adequately capture the magic of Jo's work ethic; seriously Jo's drumming prowess has absolutely got to be seen to be believed... check her out this week at NSC or revisit BusinessChic on the weekend...

Behind-the-scenes of preparation for Big Scary interview after Big British.

To learn some more about the band and their music; make an appointment with yourself to peruse the Big Scary online universe via their MySpace/ Facebook/ website . You can even download their tracks (FOR FREE- it’s silly!) or perhaps post-Friday night drinks, you might like to mosey on over and see them play THIS Friday night at Northcote Social Club.

Big Scary play at Northcote Social Club May 28 (this Friday)

PS: My favourite tracks are (newest to oldest): Autumn, Falling Away, Apple Song, Can You Blame Me.

PPS: Thank you @KimberleyL and the power of Twitter for informing me about this event and Big Scary for having me as their guest. Xx Cheryl
