Business as Usual

It’s business as usual at Business Chic, so here is a fabulous Creative who inspired me to wear a cape to work and be my own superhero. And a note: while my head is full of the va-voom-femininity in the September issues of our favourite fashion mags, from my watching professionals on the streets; it’s still geek chic that reigns supreme in the bureau… for now. Xx Cheryl

A fabulous Creative in the midst of Melbourne pedestrian traffic

I'm noticing a trend amongst my Creative friends towards larger frames. To pull off super-sized frames in their work envirnoments, Corporate types may wish to keep the rest of their ensembles very conservative whilst Polished types might be able to squeeze in flair via extra accessories with a well-chosen twist..

Nothing quite says "take that Melbourne drab!" like a quality bit of Missoni.

Patent leather make these sparkle! Style has oodles of personality which make them equally welcome at work or play.

  1. Fab look! Capes are so classy and very A/W 11 – I wonder where she got it? I’ve got two waiting for Winter to come so I can wear them (won’t be long considering I’m in London!).

  2. I like her grey cape… and her shoes are amazing..

  3. I love capes!! I so need one but finding the perfect one is tricky.
