Ruffled but non

What a preposterously perfect weekend in Melbourne it was! Sunshine and mild weather meant that Melburnians were out in force enjoying the sights and ambience of our fair town~ and with events such as Art Melbourne, Saturday in Design and open pubs – it wasn’t  too hard to either! So I hope you are similarly energised to kick off this week of Business Chic with a lovely Corporate who was kind enough to allow me to capture her skirt suit which I think is simply the bees knees when it comes to feminine suiting. Xx Cheryl

This number by Veronika Maine is my idea of a perfect suit~ smart tailoring and detail which offer a balance of professional and feminine.

A simple v-neck top provides the perfect backdrop the ultra-femme ruffle collar.

More adorable ruffle detail simply completes this perfectly ruffled-but-unfussy suit! I also much love the contrasting well-loved leather-bag which I think adds much charm to this Corporate ensemble.

Fabulous! A classic pair of heels in a workable heel-height is made extra-special by way of wonderful weave detail (which would also add some interest peeking out from a Corporate pant suit).

PS: A little shout out and big thanks to my out-of-towner, Liyen~ a visiting artist who brought me out of my own winter reverie and helped keep my creative inspired!
