Walking on sunshine!

We conclude this week of Business Chic with the editor of Onya magazine, a wonderful Australian online magazine that we hope to soon see in print! I much like Sandi’s functional but feminine workwear, emphasised by the classic floral print of her frock and bright and sunny sandals. Note that she has a black blazer handy to add “business” to her workwear easily. However perhaps the most important to note here is the featuree’s positive can-do-personality; the most imporant element in any ensemble but particularly welcome in a professional one. Hope you all have a safe and happy weekend. Xx Cheryl

Favourite shops/brands/websites for workwear? Cue. I love that a lot of their clothing is Australian made. I also love Gorman, Karen Walker and Obus. Any almost any shoe store. The blazer I’m carrying is from Portmans, and made in Australia. I always keep my eyes out for Australian made clothing, no matter where it’s from. And I always try and support our industry.

Skincare or cosmetics that perform well for you? Sukin and Jurlique are my staples for skincare. I really love Benefit for make up.

Publications/sites you like for updates in your industry or just find
To be honest, I tend to get a lot of my updates from my Twitter pals – they are always so in the know.
But otherwise, mediaweek.com.au, mashable.com, bandt.com.au, and there’s always my favourite glossies – Vogue, InStyle and Madison, and my favourite niche mags – The Gentlewoman, Spook, Industrie, DQ and I’ll stop now, before I go on and on.

Fabulous weather appropriate summer-hue sandals add colour and personality to a monochrome workwear ensemble. Wonderful!
