F.O.L.D. Studio

We draw this week of Business Chic to a close with some resourceful inspiration from another young Australian creative. Today’s featuree, Roslyn, was inspired by plywood off-cuts; a by-product of her work making furniture as a member of the F.O.L.D. Studio. Rather than being wasteful and discarding the pieces, she saw the beauty in the geometrical shapes which she handpaints and fashions into necklaces. The pieces remind me of the cubist works of Picasso and Braque (but at a tiny fraction of the price!) and which I think can be worn to add interest to any workplace ensemble (just keep everything else simple). Click here for more of Roslyn’s designs.

Pared down chic - a simple shell top is timeless, easy to wear and made interesting here by way of Laura's feature necklace~ effortless.

  1. Thanks for your comment, Lara – we so agree! Xx

  2. Loving this outfit with the simple shapes and colours but its her approach that I like the best. Minimising waste is a great reason to create this kind of style! She’s a winner!
