Style in a Melbourne laneway

We close this week of BusiChic with the uber-stylish, Tess, whose avant-garde Creative ensemble I spied whilst cycling down one of Melbourne’s blue-stone laneways.

Tess

glasses & jacket Alphaville top, shoes and ring second-hand leather pants I got these from a friend bag Mum’s!

Clockwise from left: Tess’ bold lip colour is made possible by NARS; I love the simplicity of her bold statement ring; a pair of androgynous shoes anchors Tess’ avantgarde Creative ensemble.

PS: Thank you for visiting Business Chic, if you would like to hear more about it, I am one of the speakers in MiFA Gallery‘s PechaKucha event tonight. This event is part of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s (LMFF) cultural program and it’d be lovely to meet some of you BusiChicizens! Otherwise, I hope you all have a great and safe weekend! Xx Cheryl

  1. I love it when the weather starts cooling again. I prefer the fashions of autumn and winter and being able to have a little more ability to create outfits with layers. And yes, black always makes a worthy return 🙂

    • @Personal Stylist – thanks for your comment Sally! In terms of workwear, we certainly find it easier to get dressed in the cooler seasons and are big fans of layers like Tess displays so chicly here. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  2. Love this look. Love Melbourne when the cool weather sets back in. Everyone just seems to settle back into themselves, don’t you think?

    • Thank you Phoebe for your simply lovely comment; totally agree and couldn’t have said it any better and something we’re happy with as long as there’s still a little sunshine;)
