Blog For Good / SOS Japan

In this second weekend edition of BusiChic, we feature bloggers who are using their blogs and social media presence for good. Last week we featured the work of the Melbourne Twitter Festival; using the power of Twitter to raise funds for local charity STREAT Melbourne.

Blog for Good

Later in the week BusiChic attended an event hosted by ProBlogger, CBM Australia and Telstra. Darren Rowse is the ProBlogger – the blogger’s resource with an impressive following of hundreds and thousands around the world who want to make their blog, their profession. Darren recently made a trip to Tanzania to blog about the work of CBM and “CCCBRT (Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania) – the largest provider of disability and rehabilitation services in that country”. Telstra are running a competition to find the next blogger to Blog For Good and raise further awareness about CBM‘s efforts. Darren will be running a series of his very popular blog coaching workshops over the course of the year, for free, to help train the next Blog For Good entrants. The opportunity to raise awareness about good work being done in Africa PLUS the opportunity to learn how to make your own blog better from one of the best sounds like a rather good deal to us! Visit Blog for Good for updates.
