LMFF: So you want to wear a onesie to work?

BusiChic loves a onesie so we were stoked to see a number of designers present options during  L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) which we think can be dressed up for the workplace. Scroll down for our picks of the BusiChic jumpsuits we spotted on show!

This überchic option from EXTINCT has the structure of a traditional boardroom-appropriate blazer. Keep your grooming impeccable and accessories to an elegant minimum in order to make this fashion-forward onesie fit the conservative workplace.

Polished/ Creative

Get the grooming and accessories right and these onesies from Maurie & Eve and Kuwaii will be adding fashion-forward flair to your workplaces. Pair with a well-cut blazer and lady-like heels to formalise the look and gain approval from more conservative peers and seniors. Where possible, add statement cuff OR necklace for additional sartorial stripes.

Gorgeous colour and chic neckline make this number from Maurie & Eve an all-in-one winner.

Love the relaxed fit of this jumpsuit from Kuwaii which we'd love to smack a blazer and statement cuff on + low-key heels for effortless work chic!

For the boys (and girls?)

One onesie, two blokes – see the difference an undone button and grooming makes! BusiChic was beside itself over this onesie from local label, From Britten P/L. It marries the styling of a polished business suit with the sensibility of hard yakka workwear. One for the Creatives, we want to work this baby, badly.
