A timeless trench coat

Phew! After the excitement of yesterday’s post on the opening of the zara store in Melbourne, we ease back into business with a look at a timeless trench coat.

trench I didn’t hear this properly, check out the enclosed episode of BusinessChicTV where I look at the label and say what sounds like “Hugh & Decker” – would love your help to ID this! pants cue bag prüne (label from Argentina) shoes billy

beauty note: nailpolish Colourama “Warm Winter”

This bag is the perfect shape for carrying work-documents.

Ballet flats are a popular shoe style for commuting easily, simply switch to heels in the office to add formality, if necessary.

A must for every work wardrobe, this classic item easily adds polish to any ensemble, note how Anna-Paula has belted hers over a simple pair of black pants for instant chic. When buying classic items such as a trench, I highly recommend buying the best quality you can afford as there is nothing quite as lovely as snuggling into a coat made of quality fabrics. Trench coats can be found at all pricepoints. At the luxe end of the scale, there is heritage brand Burberry, locally I loved the relaxed mustard version from Gorman and yes, there were lots of trenches at zara.

A Gorman trench I loved at LMFF (L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival) - I wonder if it's on sale now...!

    Hi there,

The correct name for the trenchcoat brand is Hurwundeki ( http://www.hurwundeki.com). The nailpolish is from Colorama (www.coloramaesmaltes.com.br) .

    Great blog by the way!
