Fashion Supports Tracky Dack Day

Sarah Gale introduces the Fashion Supports Tracky Dack Day Show

TLC for Kids is an Australian charity which supports children undergoing treatment in hospital. One of the many activities they have to help get some normalecy into the daily routine of procedures, is to encourage kids to get out of the PJs and into their tracky dacks. Simple but effective.

Last week, the fashion community came together for TLC for Kids’ annual cocktail+music+fashion show fundraiser, Fashion Supports Tracky Dack Day, as advertised in our monthly newsletter, The BusiChic Bulletin. Designers Carla Zampatti, Aurelio Costarella, J’Aton, Jenny Bannister, Dhini, Alpha60, Lui Hon, Anthony Capon, Neo Dia, Clarence Chai, Extinct, Ellery, Rachel Gilbert, LIFEwithBIRD and Trimapee each designed a pair of tracksuit pants which were shown in a fashion parade before being auctioned off. Take a look at the slideshow below for the one-off creations:

What can BusiChics do?

July 1 is Tracky Dack Day. Please get on board and dack up and donate to help support TLC for Kids, register here to donate $3 to the cause and wear trackies to work. I know that this is something that I’ll be picking up with People & Culture in my workplace. Wish me luck they say yes so that I can do a prep post on wearing tracksuits in the office!

Register for Tracky Dack Day here.
