LMFF Runway: Menswear Autumn/Winter 2011

We return today to the catwalks of L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) to take a look at the business chic menswear we spotted. Designers who showed their Autumn/Winter 2011 offerings included: Autonomy, Alpha60, From Britten, Three Over One, Vanishing Elephant, Arthur Galan AG and Farage.
All the looks we saw were fashion-forward, providing inspiration and the attire for those who can be sartorially bold in the workplace. Those in Conservative environments can take heed of the smart grooming that set the polished tone. Here’s a closer look at just some of the menswear labels who shared the runway with supermodel Helena Christensen:

A menswear offering that would not sit out of place in a stylish european gentleman’s wardrobe. A go-to label for gents looking for stylish Smart Casual, I liked a pop of colour they sent down the runway too as seen here.

A european chic ensemble for polished Creatives or Smart Casual - from Autonomy.

From Britten P/L
We’ve previously had a look at delicious winter layers and onesies from this label that takes the look of the traditional meaning of workwear to create modern looks for the working gentleman. Here is another:

From Britten showed clever takes on workwear in luscious fabrics for winter.

Three Over One
A label I’d like to learn a whole lot more about. Three Over One piqued my interest with their use of rope as drawstring for a relaxed take on suit pants and muted colour palette in their offering for Smart Casuals.
