A blaze of Carla Zampatti

Carla Zampatti is an iconic Australian designer who launched her self-named label in 1965 and is going strong today. I love her chic silhouettes that are embellished with simple but avant garde twists and was particularly chuffed to catch her LMFF show where she sent out beautifully tailored pencil-skirted sheathes and coats in a blaze of bold colours, one of which was a spectacularly intense hue of orange-red. This hue made quite a favourable impression on me so I was pretty stoked to see it flash at me one grey Melbourne morning, et voila!

Suzana wears Carla Zampatti coat and frock with bag by Wayne Cooper and shoes and watch by Guess for a versatile ensemble that can be worn in the boardroom by day and out for dinner and drinks at night. Also of note are her black bag and patent shoes that are smart enough for the office but also on trend enough to not look too stuffy. Well that’s what I think, what do you think of Suzana’s blaze of colour, BusiChics?

  1. Loving this bright coat! 😀 It matches beautifully with the dress:)

    Great post!
