Heads up for Casuals

Another early post as I’m starting to think that I should be posting in advance to give you ideas on what you can wear to work tomorrow or even later in the week. For example on Monday nights, a post to get you ready for the start of the work week; on Wednesdays a Smart Casual ensemble for those gearing up for Casual Friday… thoughts?

In the meantime, take a gander at Adam sporting Smart Casual that also works well for casual work events like weekend lunch at your boss’ place. It happens. So top up your classic cool transeasonal blues with a layer of chocolate coating for a smart ensemble that will impress on all fronts, casual.

Adam wears jacket and belt from reiss although Aussies can buy through asos; shirt is by calibre, cardigan from country road, jeans by nudie and shoes from bertie.

For post-work drinks, Adam likes venues down Melbourne laneways like robot. For publications, his go to is GQ.

I love this classic timepiece and how the bold blue brightens up the brown of Adam's Smart Casual ensemble

What do you think of Adam’s business chic?

  1. I found myself starring at the watch for quite a while! Its Awesome !

  2. C’mon Adam.
I would have thought Croft Institute and Cookie would have squeezed into your CBD hot spots…I’ve seen some of your better work in those establishments.
    And what about Charltons?

  3. He stole the watch concept from me….

  4. Love that watch!

  5. Love this look. Smart casual is a tricky one – so many end up just looking daggy.

    • such a good point Nikki and all it takes are a few touches to avoid looking daggy; the jeans that are a good fit and length and coat that fits properly across the shoulers.
