Lamington.
A lamington is a sponge cake in the shape of a cuboid, coated in a layer of traditionally chocolate icing then desiccated coconut.
In this post we take a look at a lamington I enjoyed one day that was followed up later that evening with a visit to The Jacky Winter Group’s art joint, Lamington Drive.
It was here at the launch of exhibition Diamonds in the Rough that I spotted the business chic style of Andrew in a polished Corporate suit.
Andrew’s glasses and suit are Paul Smith, shirt is by Calibre, tie by Tom Ford and shoes by Jeffery West who bill themselves as the infamous english shoes which sounds almost as wickedly delicious as a lamington 😉
Speaking of delicious, Andrew favours work lunches at Il Bacaro and afterwork drinks at Izakaya Den.
Diamonds in the Rough runs through to September 17 at Lamington Drive >
