Tash of Breakfast with Audrey at MBFWA

One of the trends that emerged out of fashion week for Spring/Summer 2012/13 is print. For the uninitiated, this basically means fabric that has patterns on it to make it more interesting. There is a lot that designers can do with print, like using a pattern that will help enhance the figure of the wearer, like in today’s instance!

Fashion blogger Tash Williams of Breakfast with Audrey is a lady with a finger on the pulse of fashion and so it didn’t surprise me when she caught my eye with this colourful ensemble that cleverly works colour and print.

Tash of Breakfast with Audrey

Tash wears: top by Princess Polly, skirt Fairground by Alice McCall, shoes from Zara, necklace by My Secret Agent Lover Man and Hermes bracelet.

While fashionistas don’t seem to have an OHS rules that their footwear has to comply with, BusiChics in stricter environs may wish to trade Tash’s strappy sandals with a pair of nude pumps. I see this outfit working for those employed in places where the dresscode is Contemporary Business Wear or to attend a work lunch or dinner.

What do you think of Tash’s work style?
