Sydney Street Style: Creative First Day

What did you wear to your first day at work?

At your first job?
At your first “serious” job?
At your next job when you were entering a senior role?

I was in Sydney earlier this month and came across Rachel who was starting her first day as a Senior Account Manager in Advertising! Rachel tells me that in terms of dress-codes, almost anything goes [in Advertising] as long as you’re dressed to impress for client meetings. I like how she’s utilised bold print and accessories that show her personality, take a look!

Creative office outfit

First day on the job: Rachel shows creativity through her statement necklace, print pants and cut-out shoes but keeps things polished through the classic glasses, blazer, top and bag.

Great glasses and statement necklace for the first day at work

Rachel couldn’t remember where her necklace was from but it reminds me of styles I’ve seen by Lady Fox.

Black shoes made interesting by cut out detail

Black shoes are a safe bet for work; I like how the cut of these one are anything but basic.

Rachel wears: Christian Dior glasses, Indikah top, Rolex watch, Bardot pants, Wittner shoes | Tilkah bag (Rachel informs me that they use gorgeous  leather!)  and jacket by Piper Lane.

Four questions with BusiChic Rachel:
