Tuesday Shoesday: Clarks Australia Cedar Grove

Greetings BusiChic!

Welcome to another Tuesday Shoesday where I highlight office-appropriate shoes that don’t skimp on style.

I’m excited because this week, you have the chance to win a pair of the featured shoe! Read on for the details!

First off some words about the brand because it’s one that surprised me. See growing up, I remember going to Clarks Australia and being fitted for school shoes. It’s a brand that I associate with kids’ shoes; I had no idea that they now make shoes for big kids too – that’s styles for men and women which offer the same level of comfort that they are known for!

I’ve been invited to share a “week in my shoes” by sharing five different ways of styling the “Cedar Grove” style that I selected; my pick of the range for working women!

Clarks Australia shoes come with a rubber sole which means you can wear them straight away; no need to visit the cobbler for a topy toe!

Pretty comfy! The Cedar Grove style comes with padding at the toe providing cushion comfort.

Clarks Australia has gotten fancy for grown-ups; check out the gold bling detail!

For ideas on how to work the Cedar Grove style, check out my personal instragram (@busichic) this week where I”ll be styling for work, work-from-home and play!

I can’t wait to hear how you’ll style this shoe for work or play! Good luck!

  1. To style these, I’d go full-on retro: some fishnets, a black-and-white printed skirt with a little flash of tulle underneath, and a red cardigan buttoned up with a black belt over the top. Red lipstick, some cool geometric nail art (black + gold), gold earrings/bracelet, a high pony, and a flash of my trusty gold eye pencil, and I’d be good to go!

  2. I’m on a mission to get heels on wheels! These shoes would look great on my black vintage bike, a flippy little black dress, red lipstick and a smile! A chic and comfortable cycle chic look.

  3. The Cedar Grove style looks like the perfect black heel to go with my wardrobe. I constantly wear dresses and skirts & love a classic heel. I think these would look great with my black sleeveless collared blouse & cobalt blue skirt with white brushstrokes from Veronika Maine

  4. Vanisha @ A Life Un-Styled says

I can definitely see the Cedar Grove being a real lifesaver on those days that encompass a range of activities. It looks so comfortable. I’d pair it with a pair of black skinny 7/8 pants with gold zippers on the side to bring out the gold detailing on the back of the shoe. And a white lace cami with a linen blazer. Gold accessories and a suede handbag to compliment the suede on the shoe x

  5. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am seriously loving Day 2, 4 and 6 – but all of them. My goodness you’re a babe.

    I LOVE these Clarks shoes!!

So how would I style them? Well the options are endless, but let’s start the day in my leopard print 50s style frock, I think these shoes would look SO perfect – made modern by the detail of the shoes. Then for night I’d switch into my leather shorts, an oversized white shirt, and these babies, and BOOM! Out the door for drinks with my girls.

  6. Jennifer Hortin says

I’d team these up with a classic cream suit I have. Under the jacket I’d wear my sequined, black top. That way I’d know I was ready to party on after work in this Christmas season – just slip off the jacket and continue to enjoy the comfort and style of Clark’s Cedar Grove!

  7. Oh, how perfect are these for a quick change from sensible scooter-riding shoes to corporate chic in the car park?! For me it’s tailored pants and blouse with my white leather scooter jacket…

  8. Jenny Gallagher says

Clarks Cedar Grove can be teamed up with a multitude of my office to night out clothes. My number one choice would be my Diana Ferrari bright, vibrant blue paisley crepe skirt with a black top. The Cedar Grove can go from office to play and be worn all day. I own a number of Clarks shoes and you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort with Clarks. A winner in all stakes.

  9. They look great and so comfy! My outfit would be anything with pockets! I’ve just started a new job where I have to spend a lot of time going from one building to another and don’t want to always carry a handbag with me, so I’m focused on business skirts with pockets and comfortable shoes I can walk all day in.

  10. I’d wear them with my black uniform at work…exactly what I have been looking for

  11. absolutely love it! it’ll use it with a lot of colour, because a classic simplistic heel like this will make any colourful outfit perfect!

  12. Ooh, didn’t know Clarks had such pretty shoes! I would pair these heels with an emerald green full skirt, white business shirt and a statement necklace ( like the ‘Lucy Vintage’ one from Misabelle Sparkes)

  13. Christa Bayer says

These are beautiful. I’d pair them with my black Yoga Jeans from Canada and my Betty Browne organic cotton t-shirt from Australia. Perfect to dress up casual date night with my hubby.

  14. I’d pair these gorgeous shoes with a black pencil dress, a cream belt, cream clutch and my favourite, bright orange MAC lipstick.

Definitely on a Friday night, so I could wear my dazzling outfit to after work drinks of course!

  15. I love Clarks. They have really turned a corner in the style stakes. I wrote about them a while back; I used to fear the machine that tested your feet size. http://www.ladympresents.co.uk/winter-boots-clarks/
    Love these Cedar Grove style

  16. Am loving the heel height, ball padding and bling detail.

I’d pair these straight away with my new Country Road black and white striped Jersey dress and black fitted blazer and then add a statement necklace to rock these shoes for work and play

  17. Ooooh – hello! What a great heel height and shape, a bit of a lift without being skyscrapers.

I have a new pair of black, Gorman ‘Malibu’ drop crotch pants that these would look fab with! On top, I’d put a boxy silk top I have in a putty colour then add a statement necklace. My take on creative-corporate work wear.

  18. Great pick Cheryl and with padding under the ball of the foot… perfection!
I’d pair with a monochrome print dress, a black blazer, a statement bag (think red! Or pink!) and a bold lip! Ready to go from work to play! x

  19. Those heels are great! I never realized that Clarks made such fab shoes. The best part is that a classic black pump like that can be worn with virtually anything. I would love to see them with a classic wrap dress.

  20. Gabrielle Malak says

I’d pair these with a pencil skirt and a boxy, short-sleeved blouse 🙂

  21. I’d pair it with a my snakeskin print trousers with a strong shouldered blazer for work to show that I’m dressed for success!

  22. I had no idea that Clarks did adult shoes either! And having a rubber sole is ingenious because it does save a trip to get a proper sole put on. I’d style these with a sharp suit with narrow pants to show off that gold detailing on the heel – just lovely!

  23. Ooh these are gorgeous! Love the gold on the heel. And I had no idea Clarks were for grown-ups too! I’m on maternity leave so haven’t been in a proper office for a year now, so I’d wear these now with a gorgeous midi skirt and blouse or a mini smock dress for Saturday night drinks; and then when the time comes, for my first day back at work.
