Street style: Coffee in the laneway

Melbourne is known for its laneways but I recently realised that I’ve fallen into a rut of sorts; I’ve been sticking to the ones I already know. So one morning I decided to cut through a different laneway and came across this scene I had to photograph…

The moral of the story is that sometimes it pays to mix things up and try something new.

What say you?

  1. Love the photo.

  2. I’ve seen that guy with the big hair around town before – I love the commitment to his style! Outlandishly awesome!

  3. We live in Paddington which has all kinds of tiny lane ways and odd little crooked streets – when we first moved here I made it my mission to explore everyone of them, but these days I too have been stuck in a rut, following the same well worn paths, and as a result not paying as much attention to my surroundings. It’s surprising how easily it happens! You’ve renewed my desire to go exploring!

    • Sydney has such gorgeously crooked little streets that you really do need to have a bit of time to explore to enjoy them properly so I don’t blame you for following your usual paths! But I look forward to seeing what you find 🙂

  4. Love the photo! And love your message!
Definitely pays off when we shake things up a little. Something I need to remind myself to do also 🙂
