Street Style: Winter Inspo

From Auckland to Melbourne and Sydney the mercury has well and truly PLUMMETED!

It’s a terrible time to be a street style photographer because not only do I have to stand around on cold and blustery streets, braving the arctic vortex to find your chic things; by the time I do get to you, it can take a lot of convincing to get you to stand out in the cold for a moment longer while I take your photo for the internets!

Thank you kindly to these BusiChics for the styles and wintry inspiration:

Witchery grey coat over leopard print and black suit

A grey coat is a great alternative to the usual black, adding a lightness to this black-skirt-suit-look. Leopard-print adds personality.

pink nails working with grey

Working the greyscale? Pink polished nails are just one of the many colours that will work well with these mid-tones.

gold dot detail and winter layer details

An tulip skirt with gold polka dots adds interest to this work look.

winter layer details

One of the chicest umbrellas I’ve seen around – monochrome keeps things classic while “bubbles” in the handle add a playful element.

chunky bright scarf brightens up monochrome outfit

Feel like you’re wearing too much black and white? Here’s an easy fix – throw on a colourful scarf.

chunky knit scarf so cosy

Few things make workwear as cosy and chic as a chunky knit scarf. Love the textures here!
